The BSK Zephyr decentralized ventilation system with heat recovery is a ventilation solution designed for rooms that do not allow for ductwork infrastructure.

BSK Zephyr recovers heat from the stale air exhausted from the premises using a ceramic heat accumulator and a fan that operates in both directions, in alternating cycles of 70 seconds each, during which it extracts and introduces air into the room, respectively.

Operating cycles:

Cycle I: Warm stale air is expelled from the room, passing through the ceramic heat accumulator. As a result, the warm air heats and humidifies the accumulator, transferring up to 90% of its thermal energy. As the ceramic heat recovery unit heats up, the fan switches to automatic supply mode.

Cycle II: Fresh air from outside, filtered from dust, microbes, allergens, or pollutants, passes through the ceramic heat accumulator, during which it absorbs moisture and takes up thermal energy at a temperature close to that of the room. Within a 70-second interval, as the accumulator temperature decreases, the fan switches to exhaust mode, and the operating cycle resumes. The heat recovery ventilation system changes its operating mode between fresh air intake and stale air exhaust every 70 seconds, and the heat recovery efficiency can thus reach up to 90%.

BSK Zephyr operates in three different modes:

• Supplying the room with fresh air from outside;
• Exhausting stale air from inside;
• Energy-efficient ventilation with heat recovery.

An important advantage of BSK Zephyr ventilation systems is that they can provide continuous ventilation and exhaust simultaneously with the creation of air currents inside the enclosure, optimizing ventilation efficiency. BSK Zephyr heat recovery units contain an integrated Wi-Fi module that enables them to be paired for zone ventilation. If the fans are paired, they can operate in parallel or inversely, depending on the desired configuration.

 Remote control monitoring of the BSK Zephyr heat recovery unit covers control of the device in all the modes below:

1. 1. Night mode for completely silent operation;
   2. Ventilation in 3 different modes: air intake, air exhaust, and reversible mode for default heat recovery operation;
   3. Operating speed settings: the recovery unit has 4 speed levels, including Silent mode;
   4. Humidity monitoring mode: 3 monitoring levels so that when a certain humidity level is reached, the device will enter exhaust mode to eliminate excess humidity.
