BlackFlex Spectra 200 ventilation ducts are used for air transfer in ventilation and recovery systems in residential, public, and industrial buildings.

The inner wall is entirely made of a material with antibacterial and antifungal properties. The material from which the ducts are made was developed by Ingremio and is protected by patents. It was created in cooperation with scientific centers within a research project, during which its high effectiveness against various types of bacteria and fungi was confirmed. The material contains silver, copper, and other microbiologically active compounds in the polymer matrix, so they do not undergo migration, ionization, and elution. The virtual absence of migration of biologically active compounds from the polymer was confirmed in laboratory tests performed in much more aggressive environments compared to those of ventilation systems. The substances used practically ensure an indeterminate bactericidal and fungicidal effect and prevent the formation of defense mechanisms of bacteria and fungi, regardless of air temperature and humidity. The composition of the materials used is entirely safe for humans, animals, and plants. In addition, all materials used are approved for food contact.

The ducts are characterized by very high flexibility, so they can be freely shaped, bent to very small radii (according to permissible bending radii), and can adapt to installation conditions without the need for additional fasteners or fittings. The duct structure ensures mechanical compression resistance of over 500 N, which allows them to be cast with structural concrete during construction work. The inner wall of the duct also has an antistatic effect, which reduces sedimentation and dust accumulation in the ducts. The smooth internal surface allows high air flows with reduced pressure losses, contributing to the low energy consumption of the entire system. It also facilitates cleaning the ducts, if necessary. The double structure of the ventilation ducts, with a correctly profiled inner wall and closed air gaps, largely suppresses the entry of noise caused by airflow indoors and provides thermal insulation. BlackFlex Spectra 200 ventilation ducts are available in a wide range of diameters, allowing optimal selection to meet the requirements of the ventilation system and construction conditions. The ends of the ducts are sealed and gasketed during the production process. The entire coil is protected with film, which prevents possible contamination during transport and storage.
