• Fan connected to the light switch. It starts operating when the light is turned on and stops when the light is turned off.
• Fan connected to another electrical power source. It is turned on manually and stops after the initially set period.

• If the light is on for more than 90 seconds, then after you turn it off, the fan will start automatically and run for the initially set time.
• If you turn on the light while the fan is operating, it will stop and continue to operate after you turn off the light, for the remaining time.
• If you turn on the light for a very short period while the fan is operating, it will not interrupt its activity.
